This Gerber camp axe with sheath (clam) is a beaut. It exudes quality. The 45905 is light and short, perfect for one hand use, but not to worry, this axe is balanced prefectly for splitting medium to large diameter (18-20") logs and for cutting logs, limbs, or trunks with ease. The blade is shaped well for splitting and the steel is first rate; it holds an edge well and sharpens easily. This is the hand axe all others should be compared to in the camp axe market. I have numerous trees on my property and I bought this for tree trimming and to make wood chips for my grill. It works great for both. It is very well balanced. The 17" length extends your reach and makes for a powerful impact without swinging it hard. The blade is holding a good edge. I'm thinking of getting one for my son who does a lot of camping.Excellent Axe
Having great success with my Gerber knive (steadfast) over the years, I purchased the camp axe and continue to be amazed! At first I thought it might be a bit long and heavy to pack but now I never camp/hunt without it. The high carbon content holds an excellent edge and in a pinch I've struck flint rock against it to spark a fire (used w/ magnesium in wet conditions). I used it to field dress elk and older deer to split a tough pelvis when my gigli saw was missing (just make sure the bladder is clear)! The tang is great for hammering in tent stakes since no one seems to remember to bring a hammer. I was concerned about the composite handle but it have held up well in the temperate climate of Kentucky though I haven't have enough extreme cold conditions like the high country to know if it would become brittle and crack. However I have camped/hunted all my life and now consider this part of my "essential" gear and that's not an easy feat!Perfect Backpacking Axe
Has good heft, and bites into woods VERY well. Mildly concerned about the small area on the back side of the axe, if only for being able to hit it with something (ala splitting logs), but not enough to cause me to get a new one. I'm a little suspicious of the plastic looking handle, but its took the abuse I've thrown its way so far so I guess I can't complain too much.Kick ax!
I'm a fan of Gerber in the first place but this ax really went beyond my expectations. It ties on easily and conveniently to a pack, is light, seems virtually unbreakable and chews through trees like a hot knife through a cold stick of butter. Working wood for shelters, fire circles, benches and a plethora of other needs is very important in the forest. So you need a solid, reliable tool to get the job done. Really like this product so far. We use it for all laundry, including baby clothing. Also priced very nicely on Amazon for big 100oz bottles. No complaints, would buy again.this detergent works well
Low sudsing and rinses clean. Works great for cloth diapers. Cleans as well as or better than anything else I've used and doesn't leave everything overly-perfumed. Doesn't have fabric softener, but if I need to use the dryer I use dryer balls and those seem to work fine, no problems with static. Great price with subscribe n save and prime, less than $8 a bottle - can't beat that. Plus, I don't have to remember to buy it. Would definitely recommend.Works great
I've been using this brand since I discovered it at Costco several months ago. It works wonderfully for the whole family, including Dad's dirty work clothes and baby's items (separately, of course). I have sensitive skin and found this brand to be non-irritating. It's a keeper.So far so good
We purchased this detergent at our grocery store after being bitten by the Earth Day bug a couple of short weeks ago. We have a toddler who wears lots of his food and is otherwise grimy. We decided to put it to the test with his laundry and everything but a pretty severe grass stain came clean! We have an HE washer but the detergent works for non-HE washers too (you just need to use 2x the amount for non-HE). Considering the number of loads a single jug washes, this is actually very comparable in price to conventional big name brands, i.e. Wisk, All, Tide, etc. Thus far we've been pleasantly surprised and will continue to use.Good product
We have a baby and toddler both with eczema and otherwise sensitive skin. I needed a detergent that could clean all our clothes at once as I don't feel like doing kids clothes and parent's clothes separately. After a decision to switch to greener products, I bought this at my local CoOp to give it a trial run. Found it to clean all our clothes as well as any brand of conventional detergent I have used before (i.e. Tide, Kirtland's, and assorted baby detergents). Also, it rinses clean. Good for such a low price
I bought this because it had a multitude of colors for such a cheap price. While the shadows may be small, they are nicely pigmented and when used with a primer they are great. Very good for the money conscious make-up lover or colorful college student.the best metalic color found on the NET!
beside the good price and good quality, I should say it has the best color ever. picture shows all the light color ,but i got all the hot colors, all metalic shades, kinda sexy tan shades, not so many pinks and yellows, it was mostly medium dark tan colors. Although I am not thrilled that this product is not just a battery but also a piece of plastic that will be discarded, it is a necessary evil. It came to my house promptly and does the job to keep my dog safe.wrong battery

After using the petsafe collar for only week, our out of control dog started to respond to our commands with the use of the sound only. We were so surprised and very relieved. Not right size

The best deal on the net! I use it to make my breakfast-smoothies, using an immersion hand-held mixer. PERFECT. I drink my protein drink on the way to work...clean it...fill it with cold water and because it's made of steel, water stays cold for a very, very long time. Handy holder for the extras
The caddy for all of the Cuisinart discs and blades is great. I no longer open a cabinet and have them falling on my feet. It organizes everything and allows you to retrieve them easily. It is not an essential but it makes handling these items a pleasant experience, not a frustrating one.good product
I like this product it keeps my blades organized while using a small amountof space. The lock is hard to open. I keep mine in the cabinet so I just don't lock it.No More Worries around the Blades!
I am so glad I bought this product! I was storing my blades in the styrofoam insert they came packaged in. Not too pretty. This holder is great. It stores the blades and discs in a compact, safe container that I can leave on my counter next to my food processor. Well worth the investment.Love it!

Fragrance Free and Effective!
I am totally happy with this product. I had been using Oxiclean (the fragrance free variety) and the clothes kept getting dingier! Careful reading of the oxo-brite label said repeated use would bring best results. The very first load I washed with it (using the recommended amount) brought almost total bright cleanliness to my wash and I had carefully selected stained, greyish and filthy things to wash! I will be using this product regularly and Amazon's price seems reasonable. I will be buying it from them.great product
I used Biz for years, but I have been looking for a more earth-friendly product. OXO Brite works even better than Biz and I feel better about it being greener than Biz. The only downside is that each time it ships to me, one of the containers has broken open and some of the powder has spilled in the box. Kind of messy, but not a big enough deal for me to stop ordering it from Amazon. I can't find a better price anywhere else - not even Trader Joe's.Great Stuff!

I had been buying this product at Whole Foods to use for my baby's cloth diapers. I found that it works better than OxyClean at getting out stains and keeping them white. First time vornado owner
I LOVE this unit! It's called an air circulator and sure enough it does that - but it's short-changing the product as a fan too since it's far stronger and effective than most box fans I've ever owned (even when the box fans are on high speed) - I have no idea what people are complaining about with regards to the *noise* - apparently they have never owned a box fan or stand fans or have forgotten the often high-pitched whirring noise they emanate - the vornado sounds no higher than an a/c unit when on full blast and quickly blends into background noise when you sleep. Even our 2 usually skittish cats walk around it and sleep only 10 feet away when it is on its highest setting! We live in a 4 room basement apartment and already it has lowered the temp by at least 5 degrees (its breeze reaches the furthest corner of the 2nd room it is directed towards)- we find keeping it in the straight ahead position on the floor in the same room as the a/c the most effective thus far but we've only owned it for 2 days and haven't experimented with a cross-draft effect near a window yet. It is light weight, sooo easy to carry and its compact design makes it truly portable. We bought a simple bathroom rug to place it on which has proven effective in reducing additional vibration noise on a vinyl floor. Already have advised family and friends to get one (2 are in the process of buying one as I write this).Vornado 733 B
I recently purchased the Vornado 733 B High-Velocity 3 speed fan for our upstairs to circulate the air upstairs. I am very pleased with the overall function of the fan. It is much quieter than I'd hoped and really moves the air. I will be purchasing another for downstairs. I was afraid the 733 would be too large but it is perfect for the larger area I was covering. I've purchased a lot of fans over the years and this by far is one of the best!Now Made of Cheap Plastic
I've used Vornado fans for decades. So, since my one of my large 700 series fans started having issues starting up (it'd just sit there until shaken, then spin), I ordered this. I was shocked, after opening the box, to find this fan made of flimsy plastic. I'd prefer to pay more and have a decently made fan, not something resembling a toy. I guess items are going to continue to be made lighter and lighter (saving on tanker fuel to get from China to the US), until everything will be light as paper. Then we'll get to watch our new fans fly around the room, due to lack of weight. :-0 Its body is larger than my old 700 series, taking up a larger footprint. It is better in that it is designed to sit in its three positions without falling back onto its old default position, like my old fan does. Thus the 3 stars.Good little fan

The Vornado is a very neat fan (or air circulator to be more precise). If you use it as a fan (direct blowing at lowest setting), it is very quiet, and as an air circulator (set at medium speed) it is still not too loud and can be quite powerful. I did have some problems setting it up for maximum performance. It is supposed to have uninterrupted space between itself and a wall and it can be quite a challenge in a small apartment like mine. However after setting up it permitted me to raise the AC temperature a few degrees higher with no impact on comfort. I would have to see my electricity bill to say whether the purchase was worth it in terms of electricty savings. This is a very good product, it's well made and sharp. The knife actually goes into the bottom of the axe's handle, and is held there by a pretty strong magnet, you need some force to pull it out. But when you do, you won't regret it, because this is one good and sharp knife.Very cool

This movie moved along kind of slowly, but the character evolution is wonderful and intriguing. May is endearing, but also very frightning.very original- great ending.....
Angela Bettis gives a incredible performance in this very orginal, 'outside the box' horror movie. I hesitate to call it a horror movie, because it is very atypical for horror. It is so much more than a horror type film. It just doesn't neatly fit in a category. You will enjoy it, and the ending is surprising. Be sure to check out her (Angela's) other films-Our imperfections are what makes us special
So much emotional wreckage can accumulate with the slanted grace of time. Especially during our formulative years of adolescence. Self-esteem can get worn threadbare by the jagged edge of loneliness and aliennation. May is a young woman who knows this all too well. She also realizes she is different. Many of her insecurities stem from her abnormal upbringing. Her mother never lets her forget about her lazy eye. When she forces May to wear an eyepatch, she sets the groundwork for her life of isolation and ridicule. Most of this story doesn't feel like a traditional horror film. I was expecting more of a gothic slasher tale with some grisly self-mutilation and gory effects. But really, this is more of an intense, unsettling character study. What makes this so uncomfortable is the way the story progresses. I initially felt a warm attraction to May and all her quirky idiosyncracies. There is a genuine charm and even some sympathy generated as she tries to find some comforts in her world. But this eventually take an extreme turn down a dark path and you're left wincing at the horrific repercussioins. My favorite part about this movie is that it is quite original. It kind of reminded me of Audition. The climax attempts to shock and fit in more with traditional horror film stereotypes. Yes, it is brutal, but I actually would have prefered a toned down, less-violent finale(I can't believe I just said that). Still, this is an outstanding little horror gem. Highly recommended.Very original
I first saw this movie on tv and wow it's different. Angela Bettis is perfectly cast as the strange disturbed girl who just wants to be loved. What is good about this movie is that each scene has a purpose and flows. It gives you the creeps and but turns around and gives you some very dark humor as well. This is definitely one that slipped under the radar.In love with May
"May" is one of the best films I've seen. The only problem I have is with the ending. A bit cheesy if you ask me. However, Angela Bettis was amazing. I found her so convincing as the title character, that I often wondered if she really is a bit on the offish side. The story is reminiscent of a good friend of mine, so I loved it even more. Works like new again
I make smoothies that requires blending 6 ice cubes and frozen fruit nearly every day. I bought an Oster blender over a year ago and it has been great at making smoothies. Lately, it has been taking an incredibly long time to mix them and I figured the blender was finished. I resigned myself to buying a new blender but at the last minute, I decided to try replacing the chopping blade. I am so HAPPY I decided to give this a try because my blender is running like new again and saved me at least $20. I would recommend buying two at once as this will save you money on shipping costs.Like a new blender!!!!
I was given an Oster Blender as a wedding gift in 1986, and have been using it ever since. Lately, the margaritas were coming out with chunks of ice, and I thought it was because the motor was getting weak. After reading the reviews, I decided to try replacing the blade rather than forking out for an entire new blender. OH MY WORD!!!!! It truly is like having a new blender!! The margaritas are so smooth... no more ice chunks! I don't care where it is made - it will renew your old blender. Highly recommended.Looked a little lopsided.
This agitator assembly looked a little lopsided at first but I gave it a try and it is dynamite for smoothies. The blades on it are very sharp so be extra careful when handling. The slightly off center blade arrangement is what makes it work as good as it does.Super sucker
This made a distinct difference in the performance of our blender. I make nutritional shakes daily which contain various ingredients with different textures. The blender is full and this blade style really sucks the mixture down and blends well.Perfect Agitation

Weak French Vanilla (especially if you make a travel size cup for work). I prefer Gloria Jean's French Vanilla Supreme, it's a little darker and much smoother (not to mention cheaper).Good...but weak coffee flavor.

Like Water - No Smell, no staying power
This detergent is so THIN I accused my husband of watering it down. It is unscented, but just try to get it to stay on a sponge. You end up using ten times more that if you use a better product, like Mrs. Meyers. NOT WORTH THE COST.Good product, takes getting used to
Because this dish detergent doesn't bubble, I had a hard time believing it was actually cleaning my dishes because I couldn't see it (the bubbles of conventional dish detergents make us feel like it's really cleaning) or feel it (the conventional stuff is much goopier). But then after using this detergent for a couple weeks, I realized our dishes were indeed getting cleaned and have loved the fact that it doesn't smell toxic, is gentle on my skin and is better for the environment.Better for my home

I really love this productor and amazon offer cheap price and free shipping. it makes my life easy. But the customer service is not good. i order whole case of this productors last weekend, but i can't get them on time. Because the poor packaging, the UPS refused to delieve to me, i've been told that it had been damaged. so, UPS mailed them back to sender. For a "regular" coffee, Vermont Country Blend is full-bodied and satisfying. It reminds me of the robust coffeeshop coffees I have enjoyed in ski resort areas, and could never find at home until now.Pleasant but too weak tasting.
Green Mountain's Nantucket Blend is one of my favorites. I was hoping the Vermont Country Blend would be at least as good. While the coffee has no off notes and a nice aroma, it is too mild for my taste. As this is a darker roast than the Nantucket Blend I expected it to be more robust in flavor than the Nantucket. I was wrong. My wife likes to add creme and sugar or frothed milk to her coffee. This blend, owing to its rather thin taste, is unsuitable for mixing, however. If you are looking for mild, easy to drink coffee that tastes like coffee consider the very good Nantucket Blend (linked below). I just got the Wilton Kit for my birthday and then i ordered this book. It has a lot of good pictures. I need pictures to learn so this is great. It gives you a lot of ideas and tips for decorating. I will buy the other books because i am very satisfied with this one.A must have for the novice
If you have never decorated then this is a must have book. It shows you how to make frosting, fill pastry bags, and talks about the decorating tips you will need. It is very easy to understand for someone who have never decorated a cake. This is the perfect book to get your decorating hands going.take the course with it, prepare to shell out more $$ for tools
I just begin a Wilton cake decorating class #1 at Michael's, and this book comes FREE with the class which is $18 (instructor says these course books should retail about $3-5 at most). You should take the class in addition to read this book, the experience of live teaching by an experienced instructor is invaluable. During this class, you will learn the beginner cake decoration techniques. It's a lot of fun, and if you don't want to proceed onto course II or III, it should be fine with just decorating your average cupcake, cookies and basic cakes. [[though most people love it so much that they do advance on..]] however, I do have to caution that the course I tool kit you can buy ($19.99 @ Michael's) is only the bare minimum, it does not have all the things you will need for the first class. so be prepared to develop this hobby and pay more (~$20-40 depending on what you want) for other tool/tips/bags....Very easy to understand, step by step instructions
Just a note, you get this book free when you sign up to take the Wilton Cake Class Course 1 (at least you do at Michael's Arts & Crafts where I took mine) The book is easy to understand, pictures are literally step by step and include instruction such as "offhand," meaning it will tell you that something should resemble an ice cream cone or look like a behive, to swirl here, or lightly brush here, sweeping motion, etc. I found it very refreshing not to all be spoken in terms that only people who attended culinary school would understand. It also shows you the pictures of suggested supplies you will need in the beginning of the book so your not running back to the store each time you start a new segment. I would suggest just taking the class because on top of getting the book free, you do get a lot more tips and advice from the instructor that you can jot down in the ample space imbetween pictures and notes in the book. But if you too busy or there isn't a class scheduled near you, this book would certainly suffice in helping you get started!Wilton course 1 book
If you are like me unable to take Wilton course 1 class or just want to get a head start before taking the class. This book is a great investment for you. All the method taught in course 1 class are given here with step by step color picture. If you don't are unable to master the skills that is fine, just practice and practice you will be ok (I suggest you use a large flat dinner plate instead of the practice board, its much easier to clean up or re-use the buttercream). I learned how to make butter cream roses and shells thanks to this book in addition to wilton's website video. I suggest everyone to invest on this book (you can always sell it later if you no longer want it).
