If you've noticed that your coffee doesn't taste like it did when the coffeemaker was new, you need Dip-it. Forget vinegar and water or trying to clean those hard-to-get-at places by hand! The reason I use Dip-it? Simple: it does a great job removing coffee oils and water scale from the coffemaker. I use it after every 30 or so brewing cycles with my Hamilton Beach BrewStation Deluxe, and it keeps my coffee tasting like it did the day the pot was new. Wonderful mixing bowls and a good price
These mixing bowls are wonderful. The rubber handles and bottoms are surprisingly helpful (no more bowls sliding around the table when you are trying to mix with one hand). They seem durable, and the price is not bad as well so I would definitely recommend buying these.Cool black and white non slip bowl set
I had a set of nested lightweight bowls, that had a bit of a pour spout..but not enough...I was still pouring 1/2 of my product on the counter top..decided to find another set that actually worked! These do! And they do NOT slide around on the counter/table top either. A nice set for newlyweds setting up house. Just watch that you don't do what I did, I thought there was another larger bowl and ordered it (well, you might actually READ...I guess I didn't!) so I ordered and now have another of the largest bowl in this set...but that's not all bad =) This is really a great set, another fine Amazon product.Very Nice
I got these as a wedding present about four years ago and these bowls have stood up very well. I've made everything in them from big batches of cookies to pancake batter in the small one. The non-slip grip is nice and at first I thought that it might pull away from the bowl when they got older, but they've been amazing. I bought the smaller prep bowls at Target for little jobs. The other reviews say that they are a bit pricey (and granted I got these as a gift), I plan on buying a set for my younger sister. I have a $10 off coupon from Bed Bath and Beyond that was in the Sunday paper and that will cut the cost almost in half.Nice Quality, but a little pricey

This specific Cuisinart DCC-1200 outshines any coffeemaker that we have ever owned. If you want really hot, strong, European-style coffee, then test this machine. These machines should be simple and this one is. I don't use the timer function so I can't comment on this aspect of it. It is easy to pour the water in. One cannot see from the outside how much water has been added so the right amount needs to have been measured in the first place, although there is a rough guide inside that you can use to check. Then the filter needs to be easy to insert and remove, and it is. The on/off switch is front and center, one can adjust how hot the warmer gets and then there is a button for making one to four cups. Oh, and it looks great.This is a lovely machine
I bought this one as a replacement, as we all do. It holds 12 delicious cups of coffee. No one else in my household drinks coffee, so there is enough left over to take to work in a large thermos. The pouring lip on the pot is not molded glass that spills. It is part of the plastic handle/lid & pours cleanly & crisply. The base keeps the coffee piping hot when set on medium. If I absolutely have to find a fault with the pot, the water needs to be poured into the base with your right hand. That's discrimination, isn't it? I would buy this coffee machine again. Use this all the time
I tried to make fudge without a thermometer but it wouldn't set. I use this one all the time to make fudge and it hasn't failed me. It's easy to use, read and it goes right into the dishwasher.fry hard
does what its made for what more could ask for. I bought this item for my girlfriend as she would often tell me how her parents had one when she was a child. I didn't even know what it was until I found it on Amazon. Long story short - she loves it! Talk about an inexpensive gift getting a huge response. It makes great popcorn in just a couple of minutes and we love the little butter melting dish that sits on top. I highly recommend this.Quick and Easy
About three months ago, I decided to reform my eating and fitness habits. [I've lost about twenty-five pounds so far with another twenty-five or so to go.]I enjoy popcorn and decided that a hot-air popper would be a good choice for reducing the fat and the sodium in my diet. This one has worked well. It's easy to use and to clean up. I make about half the recommended amount for myself each time I use it -- 1/4 cup rather than 1/2 cup -- but it leaves relatively few kernels unpopped and it's quicker that the microwave popcorn I used to make.It actually pops!

i bought this for my boyfriend who loves pop corn. it works absolutly great! very easy to use, took us all about 3min to figure it out and was popping pop corn right out of the box! Tho it would be nice if it had a on/off switch. right now its just plug it in to start and unplug when you are done.Great popcorn!
We love our Presto popcorn maker and use it EVERY night. The key for us to make good popcorn is the type of kernel we use. Many have commented on it's faults 1) no on/off switch 2) plastic top gets very hot 3) lighter small gourmet kernels fly out unless you tip the popcorn maker back until kernels start popping. We first tried using it with the common Orville Redenbocker kernels carried in most grocery stores. And we almost stopped there. It made the chewiest, stick to your teeth, awful popcorn. This seems to be a type of kernel that needs to be popped with oil. To make the best popcorn, we ordered samples of gourmet popcorns online (Riehles and Wisconsin Gold) and picked the kinds we liked best when air-popped. Many of the small kernels are very good. Heating element didn't last
This waffle maker worked well - while it worked. I had it for over a year, but only used it maybe 15 times before the heating element went out. It just seems too common for electronic appliances to fail these days. I didn't check, but I'll bet it was made in China.Fantastic waffles!
i am not a waffle lover, so when my friend made waffles for breakfast while on vacation i wasn't all that excited...until i had one! these are the best waffles - crisipy on the outside and soft on the inside. i was sold...i had to get one! perfection!A bust after six uses.
This waffle maker was wonderful. For six uses, it made the best waffles. Delicious. Crispy and soft on the edges. Nice and thick. Then, it just stopped. Out of warranty, of course.Fast waffles!
This waffle maker makes very thick and delicious waffles in about 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, at most! It's very easy to use, heats up quickly, and it is not cheaply made like other Belgium waffle makers. The only downfall is that it takes up more counter space than regular waffle makers but it's well worth it. If you pour slightly more batter than what the measuring cup (included) says, you get a fuller and better waffle in my opinion. Just don't overdo it because it'll seep out from the sides...but I suppose that's why it also comes with a spill tray. :) I use mine a few times a week and haven't had any problems. Hopefully I won't, I've only had it for about two months.Good - when it works
When this waffle maker works, it's great. However, we've now had 3 new units in the last 6 months that have failed averaging about 8 uses before failure (we usually have waffles once a week). The same problem occurs each time - the heating stops about midway through the waffle with a hungry family waiting - dang. Not only that but you are left with a gooey mess to clean. I opened up the last unit after it failed and found that it has a solid state heating control so I have no idea as to why this type of board should keep failing. After receiving a free sample of the orange-flavored Stevita drink mix, I decided to try the cherry and strawberry flavors. The strawberry's sweet, but does have a slight bitter aftertaste. It also took a little while for it to desolve in the water bottle. However, it doesn't have that chemically aftertaste that you get with some drink mixes. This is a pretty item
that I got because I have a hard time with heavy mixing bowls. It looks really nice and went through the dishwasher just fine. But seeing a 1.5 qt size is different from imagining one. It is smaller than I think I need, but may be good since we are only two in the house these days. I already have four of these plates and wanted four more since I use them often. They are really beautiful! They aren't very deep, however, so if you are looking for deep bowls, these aren't the right ones for you. I highly recommend the whole Butterfly Meadow collection. I just love them.pasta bowl

I have used this bacon tray for 15 years. It cooks bacon evenly and I have been very pleased with it. I have tried other trays in the past but they pale in comparison. This tray consistently makes good bacon, is easy to clean, and is good for defrosting frozen meats.Great for small amounts
This tray works very well for when you don't need to fry up an entire pound of bacon. It doesn't taste as good as frying, but is probably healthier since it isn't sitting in its own grease. The only real draw back is that you need a pretty large microwave oven to allow it to rotate. If it hangs up, the middle pieces tend to burn.best bacon ever

I purchased four of these bacon racks, and I have only one complaint. These new racks are not as sturdy as the one I had for about fifteen years before it bit the dust. Be sure to clean very good each time it is used or the bacon will stick to the old residue. Cleaning does take some effort after making perfect bacon. This is truly a winner. I got some of these when the Contech brand went out of stock - boy was I disappointed - they didn't catch anything!!! after a month or so they each only have a couple of moths in them... My Contech traps had to be replaced because they were completely covered with moths... I finally pulled the pheromones out of the contech traps and added them to these traps and now they're catching more... totally inferior product by comparison. Save yourself the hassle and get the Contech ones to start with.Great product! Works like charm
I bought several since my cupboards and closet had become unbearable and my fridge was getting full with all my pantry stuff. I bought a 2-pack of these sticky traps and they worked pretty well but not by following the advice on the package. I had them close to my pantry but would always see the insidious flutterers cruising around my TV in the evening. So I put one on the fireplace mantle about 6 feet from there. There is 50 of those suckers stuck in it now, one month later. The one trap left by the pantry has 10.Absolutely Useless

Good product
We are using these plates for our outdoor wedding. We wanted to limit our disposables or eliminate them entirely, and plates are the one concession to a throwaway item. It was very important that any trash we generate break down quickly and efficiently. So we have sampled these plates to make sure they fit the bill of being efficient, sturdy, and a reasonable alternative to plastic. They are!! We have added heavy, warm, wet foods to the plates and they hold up very well with no leakage. The only problem is that the edges of the plate are weak and crack if you hold a full plate too close to the edge. The cracking does NOT cut across the plate, so your food is not in danger of falling through. Just be cautious and keep a hand under the plate when walking or standing.A bit pricey but it's worth it to go green
I buy these plates at my local high-end supermarket because the big chain supermarkets don't carry any recycled or eco-friendly paper products of any kind. These plates, while quite expensive, are a terrific alternative to paper plates. We don't use disposable plates very often anyway, so the added expense isn't something we're paying all the time. Probably once or twice a year we buy disposables. These are made from potatoes, limestone, and corn. Once you've thrown them out and they make their way to your local landfill, you can rest easy that they're going to degrade naturally over the years without releasing harmful chemicals. Feels good to be part of the solution and not part of the problem. As disposable plates go, they're great. They can go into the microwave and they don't get hot. We recently had to replace our toaster because one of the cats had knocked it to the floor when jumping onto the counter. While researching for a new one I came across the Back to Basics TEM500 Egg-and-Muffin 2-Slice Toaster and Egg Poacher. A clever idea but how useful would it be in practice? However, the price was right and there would be no problems returning it to Amazon, so I ordered it. After using it for a month here are my observations. 1. Toasting performance: excellent; it may be the best toaster I have owned. 2. Cooking a poached egg: excellent and very easy to do. 3. Cooking soft/hard boiled eggs: not as good. The shells need to be pierced and sometimes the cooked egg will ooze from the hole. The bottom of the supplied water measuring cup has an egg piercer. 4. A complete toast/poached egg/Canadian bacon sandwich: perfect. 5. Cleanup: very easy. Overall I am very pleased with the unit and would deinitely recommend it to others.Very Good Customer Service
My wife and I bought this 2 slice version, and we liked it so much we gave it away and ordered the 4 slice model. We were disappointed when it arrived and the egg cooker didn't work. I called the company and then sent another one, no questions asked, without having to send the first in. Now we use it everyday to make delicious and healthy sandwiches. The only complaint is that the toaster doesn't make toast very dark, even on the highest setting, but it isn't bad, and you can put the toast in twice if it really bothers you. I would recommend this to everyone to make simple and delicious sandwiches.Super Easy!
I am so glad I purchased this, not only is it super easy to use, but the egg made this way is much healthier than me frying it. The amount of water you put in determins how well your egg is cooked, but even with mine well done the muffin stays warm in the toaster. I am not a gourmet or a breakfast food addict and I never feel comfortable around toasters or toaster ovens but I am missing this little device, after it died on me a couple of weeks ago. We had one of these for the past couple of years and, somehow, it turned me into a toast eater. My wife used the egg thing from time to time too so, when it stopped toasting, I felt that I needed a replacement and I am buying one today. On features: making eggs is moderately okay. I can't say much because I don't eat real eggs no more - cholesterol... you know? But it's good to know it's there and it doesn't bother anyone. The toast-making is easy and there is a nice knob that you can move from light to dark. I always select the darkest but my wife sets it somewhere in the middle. I don't know why. After a while, your toast pops up and you can eat it but if the slices are too small, it's sometimes hard to take them out and you better wait for a minute or you could burn your fingers. What does this thing have better than a regular toaster, other than the egg-processing part? It's the shape, I guess. I like things that are black and round and have a few buttons on them and I don't like appliances with a lot of shiny chrome. Did I mention that the one we bought a couple of years ago died on us? It did but... for $25... it's no big deal. I'm getting another one today and, if it lasts for 2 more years I'll be happy.Not a Joke or Toy
This product defines my wife--she is a breakfast sandwich nut! I saw it and bought it knowing it probably did not work as well as the reviews indicated. I was wrong--it is not a toy or a piece of art--it really works. We are so very happy with it's functionality and performance and it is really attractive. We will buy another for our RV--my wife uses this appliance 4 or 5 times a week. I toasted bagels and it was excellent. Best Dog Shampoo Ever
I started using Buddy Wash on my Schnauzer when he was a puppy. It is mild, rinses clean, and has never irritated his skin. I was upset when Petco and Petsmart quit carrying it and was relieved to find it here. Thanks!smells great
Honestly, I have never used this product. I bought it as a gift. However, I was really satisfied with the scent (not at all overpowering) and the consistency (better than any dog shampoo I've used). I was so excited to receive the Buddy wash 1 day before my Pomeranian's yearly vet appointment. I was able to wash and condition her with it in time for the appointment. Her hair has never been as soft and tangle free. Everyone at the vet's office asked me about her soft fur and wonderful smell. I recommended Buddy Wash to them. I have two dogs a Rottweiler and a Aussie Mix. Both have had some allergy problems. After a couple of washes of this stuff (and a steriod shot from the vet) their hair had become much more shiny and soft. It also feels like the shampoo cleans out all the buildup that can accumulate on the dogs hair. I love this product and lasts a good while. I will continue using it and would recommend it to others. Works great, if you have a vacuum sealer!
I bought this to replace a marinator that had a manual pump, not realizing (although that is my fault) that you need a Foodsaver to use it! We ended up getting the Foodsaver vacuum sealer system, and have liked all the products so far. It is easy to use, quick to marinate, and easy to clean.Great for quick marinade!
I've been using this when I forgot to marinate something for dinner. So far just chicken and steaks. It works great. I'd give it 5 stars if you could put the lid in the dishwasher; the bottom is dishwasher safe only (top shelf of dishwasher). Also, just be sure to spin the knob to closed BEFORE removing the vaccuum tube (I know it seems obvious, but you'd be surprised...)Wow!!!
I bought these marinating containers at the end of last summer. I don't grill during the fall and winter, so I just got them out today for some pork chops that I was going to grill. I am VERY impressed. The chops were delicious and melted in our mouths. The marinade was all the way through the meat. I'd definitely recommend them. Very easy to use.super moist

Best kitchen tool I ever had
The Kitchen Aid Professional 600 is the best machine I ever had. Even my husband loves to use it. Now is baking, mixing or everything else realy easy. Even bread is fast prepared and I have the best bread ever. The delivery was very fast and the package was packed very good. Thank you very much.Can't handle heavy duty bread dough
I have used this machine to make some twenty loaves of bread over six months. It stuggled with the very first loaf. The machine died in the middle of mixing bagel dough, probably with stripped gears. The machine is outrageously noisey at any speed even with nothing in the bowls. It is a very pricy machine that is not worth a quarter of the price. You'll get a name brand if you buy this, but will not get a product worthy of that name. I was in the market for a new stand mixer. The 6 Qt. model had obvious appeal. Years ago, I used a KitchenAid 5 Qt - back in the days when they came only in white. However, I heard, here on Amazon, about the gearbox (plastic versus metal) problem that had developed when K'Aid decided to change from metal to plastic. I was concerned. I turned to the KitchenAid website (which had a users forum) and found that most of the posters were 'determined' to be in love with their KitchenAid mixer, complete with pictures of it on their postings, and in many cases, actual pet names made up for it. I nearly expected to see some of the mixers donning a rhinestone collar and leash in the photographs. mmmm, not exactly power users there. Interesting that whenever the "KitchenAid Answer Man" was asked about the metal versus plastic gear housing, and whether the model (serial number tells the tale) that a poster had was metal or plastic, the "answer man" brushed this question off as being unimportant, but added that KitchenAid was in the process of returning to metal gearboxes. Subsequently, the person was attacked by others on the board, the general theme being that anyone with any issues with KitchenAid mixers was an obvious idiot and must have done something wrong - i.e overworked it, used it under water, failed to give it a precious enough name or have it professionally photographed for display on the site. Little substance and a great deal of emotion - the need to believe that this brand was reliable no matter how intelligent or well described another poster's problem. On this (Amazon) site, I read of someone who wanted to ask this (plastic versus metal) question on the K'Aid site, but was rejected because the question had no merit, in KitchenAid's opinion. Imagine if the K'Aid site were not actively filtered to favor people who named their mixers "orange crush" or "pink lady" and the like. I ended up buying a Hobart professional 5 qt mixer - 3 speeds, you need to turn the machine off before changing speeds - not the home user's dream, but none of the nonsense of KitchenAid's making an engineering blunder, followed by their refusal to fess up now that its in process of being fixed, and worse, refusing to identify which of their mixers in the field have the plastic housing. And to make matters worse, running a "forum" that purports to be an open discussion of appliance issues, when in reality, it seems to be more of a collection of, well, let's say less-than-critical consumers. I DID purchase a K'Aid Pro-Line coffeemaker KitchenAid KPCM050NP Pro Line Single-Carafe Coffeemaker, Nickel Pearl. Problems with the pour spout, 3 replacement units in 2 years, still a defective pour spout that has been cited repeatedly on this website, but when described to the KitchenAid rep, a surprised reaction, as if that is the first time she heard about it. Since Pro-line appliances come with a 2 year no-questions asked replacement policy, they dutifully replace it every time an incapacitating problem occurs, which is frequently. However, as I pointed out in another post, when I purchased this item from KitchenAid, the idea was to spend the money up front and avoid hassles later on. In this case, K'Aid hase been cooperative enough to send me a new unit each time the old one has failed. But my vision of good service is reliability...not of having a dedicated line to customer service to tell them that "it happened again". Each time the UPS man pulls up with my replacement coffee maker, I unpack it and make him a cup for the road. I'm tempted to ask him how many of these replacement units he delivers per day - he must be getting caffeine overdose. Good luck to those recent purchasers of the stand mixers. My strong advice would be to phone the K'Aid rep and give her your serial number and demand to know whether the gearbox is plastic or metal. If it is plastic, demand that they send you a replacement with a metal gearbox. I've heard some on here talk about these mixers as if some users have the intention to pass them down to the next generation, a la "grandmother's KitchenAid". I think for that to be an option, you must ensure that you did not buy one of KitchenAid's "bad experiments" - a unit with a plastic gearbox. BobHappy Cook
This is my 3rd KitchenAid Mixer. I have 2 smaller ones that do a great job but I wanted a heavy duty mixer that could make several loaves of bread at a time. It can also handle the grinder I bought to grind wheat without any difficulty. I also have the Bosch mixer and between the 2 I can put out quite a few loaves of bread as well as cinnamon rolls, etc. Highly recommend this product. It has a powerful enough motor to handle just about anything I throw at it. The only con is the beaters have to be handwashed but so do the ones with my Bosch so no big deal. To add to the growing list, I also had this product fail on me twice. The first time, it shut off after about an hour. Then it was very sporadic. Occasionally over the next few days it would work for a couple hours at a time, but never more than that. It usually shut off in 10 minutes. I always had to go through a huge ordeal to convince it to work at all, and often it would turn on and then immediately shut off. I had really high hopes about it, because I loved everything else, including the soothing blue night light. (So peaceful and pretty.) So I ordered a second one and returned the first, assuming I had just gotten a bad one. The second one worked perfectly the first and second day, leading me to believe that this time it would survive. On the 3rd day, it started making an incredibly loud and annoying fan sound and wouldn't push out the mist whatsoever. ::sigh:: I did everything correctly, and followed the instructions perfectly, and used only bottled, distilled water. My only difference was when I tried calling Medisana, they never once answered the phone and didn't return a single one of my messages. Fortunately, Amazon customer service was helpful and processed the returns for me. They were both just defective. Very irritating. I was so disappointed that I gave up on humidifiers for a few months, and only yesterday made a purchase for a new, totally unrelated one. Here's hoping.Great for Snoring and congestion

The Medisana personal humidifier works well beside my bed taking up little space. It has a two speed fan with the light optional as to on or off. I also use it for aromatherapy in my living room using various essential oil blend. A similar product for aromatheraphy alone is almost $100. I like my Medisana very much.Bad news

I would have given this humidifier 5 stars,however i purchased 1 last year and it only lasted for that long 1 year (which really means the winter season while the house heat is on) On the otherhand, it was the best humidifier i had ever purchased (i purchased a few)Usually humidifiers leave your carpets and floors a soggy, wet mess, ruins furniture. this one is just perfect, i have it in my daughters bedroom it keeps it moist without the mess. the blue light is a really nice color and makes a cool reflection on the ceiling. As other reviewers have mentioned, these aren't the strongest bags you've ever used. But, if you're buying these in bulk because you like the idea of creating a market for recycled plastics, you probably won't mind doubling up for bigger jobs. I don't. My assumption, which could well be incorrect, is that creating demand for these will lead to improvements that will yield a stronger bag. Until then, I'll double up when I have to. Not that buying these makes that big a dent in the landfills or anything much...Good bags

I LOVE having a product that contains so much recycled plastic! Complete the recycling loop! These bags can't hold up to overloading, but for ordinary kitchen use, they are great. Recommended!ok but atleast its good for our enviroment
The bags are not nearly as good as Hefty but they do what i need it to do. its not wise to overload or put heavy or sharp items. However, I purchase product knowing that I am helping out planet. There is no one else who has a product like this.Fine for the lighter items tear far too easily though and forget anything heavy...
I have found that these only work for my recycling bin at home, my normal garbage is just too much for these bags to handle, as they often tear or puncture so I have had to forgo using them for my regular trash. This is a strongly flavored, astringent oolong tea. It is reasonably priced (that is priced as a beverage) and the same tea being sold at several times the cost by various vendors pushing it for its weight loss properties. It produces a cloudy, medium brown brew with strong, slightly rough flavor. Oolongs from this particular location are reputed to aid in losing weight. I prefer smoother oolongs with a lighter, clearer brew, but this is a matter of taste. This is a good, solid but not inspiring tea.Great Tea

Thought I'd try this tea. Wrong choice. Tea is not as good as Numi's Iron Goddess of Mercy Oolong tea. Perhaps my favorite Oolong. Shipping costs almost as much as the tea on the Natural Chinese Wuyi Oolong. I'll stay with Numi Tea from now on.Best oolong I've had.
I really enjoy this tea. Has the best flavor of any of the oolongs I have tried. The leaves are whole and you do not get a lot of tea particles in your cup or pot.I'm not a tea expert

I've owned a few other scales, but they were all cheap, didn't last, and only measured up to a few pounds. This scale is really high quality. I love that I can track the nutrition of everything I eat. But I can also use it when I am baking to get accurate measurements of my dry goods, so I use the tare function all the time. It's so sensitive, it will register the weight of your breath just blowing on it! This product is easy and fun to use. Comes with directions that are easy to read and understand. Great for logging daily, weekly food journals for any health conscience individual. The size is relatively small as far as width, depth and height. It can fit in a drawer or hang out on the counter. It uses different types of weight measurements as well such as lbs, oz and grams. You can also use it for other items such as mail for postage purposes or anything else up to 7 lbs. The item also has a nice brushed chrome appearance and a the weighing plate is glass.
